"Sparkle for Divi" The Plugin That Started It All

Out of pure curiosity, and without really knowing where it would lead, I started building my own plugin.

Previously, I had written a bit of custom code to display little sparkles beneath a top menu, and at some point I thought: wouldn’t it be easier if you could just drop this in with a plugin?

After looking around, I couldn’t find anything that did exactly what I had in mind. So I figured… why not build it myself? How hard could it be? What tools would I need?

Of course, that only led to more questions—but not enough to stop me from diving in. With the help of ChatGPT and Claude, I managed to make steady progress. Step by step, things started to come together, and before I knew it, I had something that actually worked—and (at least in my opinion) looked pretty good too.

So here it is—now available for free to all fellow Divi enthusiasts.
